Emerging technology Part one
The article that I read “Facebook's Timeline” was about how the time line on face book is collecting Allot of Data about its billions of users. Such as when they bought a car or a house and it can show what people are most likely to buy a product. This will make it much easier to collect data about people in the future. The thing that surprised me the most is that all of this information is right at our finger tips and it’s not as hard to get as we think it is. The possibilities for the future are that a business could simply go on Facebook to retrieve information about their consumers and who would buy their product rather than using other ways to get the information. I think that this is a great use of a social networking site.
The second article I read from 2009 is called “TR10: $100 Genome” It talks about how “a physician could biopsy a cancer patient's tumor, sequence all its DNA, and use that information to determine a prognosis and prescribe treatment-- all for less than the cost of a chest x-ray. If the ailment is lung cancer, for instance, the doctor could determine the particular genetic changes in the tumor cells and order the chemotherapy best suited to that variant.” It’s sadly not to that point yet but is expected to get there within the next year.

I agree that Taylor Swift is a talented young lady. You did a good job discussing her early life and her accomplishments. You had a lot of good pictures, but your citation page was rather short. You may have not cited every picture, including the ones of the little boy who died of cancer. You had no introduction or closing section. I could feel your love of Taylor and that was a big plus. Your voice volume was not consistent. On occasions, you did not pause long enough between sentences. Good quality discussion though. 90%
